Grant Marcketta

Professional Experience

Grant Marcketta is an associate in the Ventura County office of Beach Law Group, LLP. Joining the firm in 2026, Mr. Marcketta focuses on the representation of healthcare and human services providers against allegations of professional negligence, dependent adult abuse, willful misconduct, and wrongful death.

Mr. Marcketta worked at the Law Offices of Anna Yum in San Diego, California, during his second year of law school. He went on to intern at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, representing defendants in criminal matters up to trial. Mr. Marcketta also spent three semesters working for the University of San Diego Legal Clinics, representing indigent clients in contract, habitability, and unlawful detainer cases.

Education

Mr. Marcketta received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis in 2020. He then received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2025. He is licensed to practice before all Courts of the State of California.

Personal

Mr. Marcketta lives in Ventura with his wife and four pets. He enjoys playing games of all kinds, dining out, and spending time with his family.
