Firm History

In 1984, Tom Beach was a founding member of the law firm which has become the Beach Law Group. Since then, the Beach Law Group, LLP has developed into a diverse litigation firm with practice groups concentrating on the defense of healthcare and human service providers, governmental entities, non-profit organizations, personal injury claims, and general business matters.  The firm maintains offices in Ventura County and Sacramento County to serve clients throughout California.

Beach Law Group, LLP has been instrumental in shaping California tort law through trial verdicts involving a breadth of issues, including healthcare, human services, non-profit organizations and governmental entity liability. The firm has also represented California non-profit public interest groups in the advancement of legislative reform proposals for healthcare providers and patients.  Our attorneys and clinical consultants also serve as speakers and program presenters in special education programs for California’s Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), Defense Research Institute (DRI), Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, Mealey’s Publications, American Conference of Hospital Risk Management, and the Southern California Association of Healthcare Risk Managers (SCAHRM).

Collectively, our lawyers have successfully handled and tried hundreds of cases to jury verdict.  We have been on the forefront of litigation in the fields of elder and dependent adult abuse and professional liability. We continue to press novel and innovative legal theories in matters throughout the state and beyond.  Outside the state of California, the firm has successfully defended and tried cases in the states of Washington, Oregon, and Texas. The firm’s appellate attorneys have an impressive record of success in diverse areas including healthcare, punitive damages, public entity, and premises liability cases.
