Rachel K. Mandelberg

Professional Experience

With 15 years of legal experience, Rachel Mandelberg has successfully defended numerous tort claims in the areas of personal injury, elder abuse and neglect, wrongful death, and violation of civil rights.   Her practice involves the defense of tort liability claims of non-profit and public entities, healthcare and human services providers, and business entities. Ms. Mandelberg joined the firm in 2012.

Ms. Mandelberg is admitted to practice before all California state courts and the United States Court of the Eastern and Central Districts of California, and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Mandelberg’s prior experience includes association with an insurance defense firm in Sacramento where her practice focused on personal injury, employment claims, and general civil litigation.

Prior to her beginning her litigation practice, Ms. Mandelberg worked as an extern at the San Francisco Superior Court for the Hon. Ernest H. Goldsmith.

Education

Ms. Mandelberg graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television and Film in 2001 from San Jose State University. She attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, receiving her Juris Doctor degree in 2006 and was admitted to the California Bar that same year.
