Sueanne D. Chadbourne

Professional Experience

Sueanne Costales Chadbourne became a partner with the Beach Law Group, LLP, in 2019 after joining the firm in 2008.  Ms. Chadbourne has over 20 years of trial and litigation experience in all aspects of litigation involving major personal injuries, elder abuse and business litigation.  Ms. Chadbourne’s practice focuses on civil litigation and the representation of businesses, governmental entities, healthcare providers, educational institutions and non-profit organizations. Ms. Chadbourne has extensive experience in litigation through jury verdict and is adept in handling administrative actions, complex law and motion issues and appellate matters.

 Education

Ms. Chadbourne received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Irvine and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law.  She held a judicial externship at the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals and clerked in Washington D.C., at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She  also served in the Peace Corps in Senegal and the Ivory Coast, West Africa.

Community and Professional Affiliations

Ms. Chadbourne is admitted to practice before all California and Texas state courts and the United States Court of the Central District of California.  She is a member of the California State Bar and the Texas State Bar, and a former member of the Washington State Bar.  She is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and the Ventura County Chamber of Commerce.

Personal

Ms. Chadbourne was raised in Ventura and enjoys living in the area with her husband and teenage son.
