Edie L. Brookes

Professional Experience

Edie Brookes has practiced civil litigation for the past 20 years throughout California.  Her current practice involves the defense of health care providers against claims of professional negligence and elder abuse, as well as defending premises liability and wrongful death lawsuits. Prior to joining the Beach Law Group, LLP, Ms. Brookes was a partner at a litigation firm in Encino where her practice focused on the defense of personal injury and premises liability claims.  Her reported judicial opinions include Maroney v. Iacobsohn (2015) 237 Cal. App. 4th 473.

Education

Ms. Brookes attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City’s undergraduate and School of Medicine programs.  She graduated as Valedictorian of the Ventura College of Law class of 2000.

Community and Professional Affiliations

Ms. Brookes is admitted to practice before all California state courts as well as the United States District Court – Central District of California.

Ms. Brookes resides in Simi Valley with her husband.
